The image of this male Iberian ibex was taken in the autumn, the time when the rutting season starts and the big males are more mobile. I usually go for a walk in the Pedriza del Manzanares, inside the National Park of Guadarrama (Madrid) with the idea of getting pictures that call my attention. On that day, my idea was to get images at a slow speed, in this case 1/13 second, to make the animal look like a cave painting.
In general, I am a purist and I like to process the images as a rule. In this case I made the usual adjustments and converted the image to black and white, because it was more suitable for my idea of a cave painting.
