This picture was taken in French Alps, with my Canon 100mm macro lens, on a cold summer day. As a result, this butterfly was too cold to move or fly. I shot from the ground, just below the subject and the sky was grey/white. I decided to overexpose by 2 stops in order to create this natural high-key image of this beautiful plant.
Post-processing was very simple, as all was correctly set during the shoot; only the contrast and saturation were adjusted in the Lightroom, to boost the picture.
