Miñiques is a massive volcanic complex containing a large number of craters, lava domes and flows. It's located in the Antofagasta Region, North of Chile. Hundreds of stacked images, shooting from dusk till dawn, under full moon. Towards the top left of the image, you can see a short, bright streak of light cutting across the star trails — this is caused by a meteor, burning up in a flash of light as it enters Earth’s atmosphere. Make a wish!
