This looks like a cinematographic effect (like entering into a megalight travel in Star wars :D)
At first look I was falling into the picture (which tends to always make me feel ill at ease; maybe I have some strange form of vertigo I don't experience IRL) but now I can't unsee this rushing forward at light speed effect, even if the top half of the pic looks like fire and explosions. Still kinda cool :)
I'm wondering what gives this effect, did you use a fisheye lens ?
