Antonio Fernandez is a Spanish photographer based in mid-west Spain. He is passionate about nature and landscapes. In his photography, Antonio is constantly searching for the purest essence of nature. The animals have a “home” within each image, which, in many cases, no longer exists in the wild. The Mandril is one of several species of primates I photographed in 2015. In 2015 I travelled to Africa so that I could see primates while they were still living in their natural habitats. And at the time I wasn’t sure if I would ever get the opportunity to do this again. From 2013 - 2023 I photographed a project, which is called ICU TOO.
